Ordinary To Extraordinary

In This Sermon:

Paul stands before the same Jerusalem crowd that just tried to kill him and does something remarkable: he tells them his story. In this message, we walk through the second half of Paul's testimony, his encounter with Ananias, the vision he receives while praying in the temple, and the moment God commissions him to take the gospel to the Gentiles, a command that will cost Paul his freedom and eventually his life.

Along the way we ask some hard questions. What does it look like to obey God even when our own logic tells us there's a better plan? What can an ordinary, unremarkable man like Ananias teach us about faithfulness? And what does it cost to follow Jesus when the people you love the most reject the message you're called to bring them?

God used an ordinary, faithful man to restore Paul's sight. He used a vision in the temple to send him to the nations. And he still uses ordinary people today to carry out an extraordinary message.”
